We recently lost a true legend in the Texarkana community, Ms. Dee Woods. To know her was to love her; she had a remarkable ability to touch the hearts of everyone around her. Whether you were family, a friend, or part of her beloved radio family, you felt the warmth of her heart of gold. If Dee Dee had it to give, you can be sure she gave it wholeheartedly.

Before her termination, Dee Dee was the backbone of KTOY, a voice that echoed through the airwaves and a presence that enriched our community. While many heard her on the radio or saw her at events, few truly understood the dedication and tireless effort she poured into keeping the station vibrant and supporting all of its personalities. Her love was truly unconditional, and her impact was profound.
